City and KPK Integrate Tax Data

Jakarta Provincial Government conducts integration related to data and information of vehicle tax (PKB), urban and rural land and building tax (PBB-P2), together with Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

Data from Jakarta Taxation and Retribution (BPRD) can be accessed and controlled directly by KPK

Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat said, his side could prevent corruption through data integration.

"Data from Jakarta Taxation and Retribution (BPRD) can be accessed and controlled directly by KPK," he said after witnessing cooperation agreement signing at KPK office on Jl. Persada Kuningan, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, Monday (9/25).

City Collaborates With KPK to Optimize Tax Earnings

According to him, his side has been cooperating with KPK before. Including the acceleration of PKB and PBB-P2 revenue.

"We have done effective cooperations since it can improve taxpayers' awareness to fulfill their obligation," he added.

Meanwhile, KPK Deputy Head, Thony Saut Situmorang hopes, KPK and Jakarta Provincial Government could expand their cooperation in other fields.

"I really hope City's other data and information could be integrated intensively. Thus not only government, but also KPK and Jakartans would be benefited," he closed.
